Manda is not a company name but an acronym for our names. We are a couple doing software development for different industries. We started since 1998 and joined to telecom industry about 5 years ago.
In telecom industry we started with automating manual procedures and reports generation, then we come up with such kind of multi-vendor automated network monitoring tools including alarm handling and geographical network elements statistical reports using Google maps.
We just tried to use our capabilities, which we gained in IT industry, to solve problems in telecom industry. Then we find out all these capabilities can be more useful in telecom than IT itself.
Yes, that is right. Try to mix different thing together to make something new.
Programming is nothing by itself but you need to know what needs to be developed, what is most demanded tool by business. It can not be done just by reading but experience.
There are a lot of products from different companies some are very useful than others.
To know what is exact required tool for a specific business you need to be involved in that business for a while. That is what happened for us. We became pre-paid engineer, VAS engineer, operation support engineer and managed services engineer in telecom industry and we find out how useful is developing software in this field.
